Mykyta Abramov (b.1999) documentary photographer raised in Odesa, Ukraine. Discovered his passion for visual storytelling at a young age, he initially envisioned career as a film director, Mykyta directed two independent feature films alongside his classmates from Odesa's Waldorf school at age 16.

But with the start of full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine he found himself drawn to the world of photography, recognizing its unique power to capture and instantly share raw emotion of unfolding historic events, focusing on small stories.

Currently working with multiple NGO’s documenting their work and effort to rebuild Ukraine. Simultaneously developing personal artistic projects. And developing stories as freelance photojournalist.
